【摘要】:ThispartofISO1122concernsthepartoftheinternationalvocabularyofgearswhichisdevotedsolelytogeometricaldefinitions.Itgives,foreachofthegeometricaltermsrelativetogears,astandarddefinitionwhichwillbevalidinternationally,thecorrespondingtermineachlanguagebeingchosenasfaraspossibleinsuchawayastodirectlyreflectthemeaningofthedefinition.NOTE—Sincethechoiceofcorrespondingtermscanonlybepartiallyfulfilledinanyparticularlanguage,duetothenecessityofrespectingcertainestablishedconventions,itisadvisable,asfarastranslationintootherlanguagesisconcerned,toreferalwaystothemeaningofthedefinitionitself,ratherthantoasimpletranspositionoftheoriginalterm.
